Aloevera inhibits the overproduction of enzymes responsible for the breakdown of the collagen-elastin matrix of the skin and provides protection against sun’s UV rays, clears away blemishes, while cucumber restores the natural moisturising factor (NMF) by delivering Vitamins and moisture to the deepest layers of sun-exposed skin. Aloevera and Soy lecithin provides nourishment, stimulating the skin’s metabolic functions and combats free radicals to prevent the effects of oxidative skin damage.

Life Span: 3 years
Look & Feel
- Package: Comes in a light weight plastic jar. As it's a jar it's unhygienic and one has to scoop the product out.
- Fragrance: Not at all a pleasant smell. Indeed it's kind of stinky. But I feel it's actually a pure form of aloevera without any preservatives. Once on the face you would get used to the smell.
- Texture: A green colored watery and slippery gel.
Effects
I don't have any blemishes and my skin problems include dryness and dark circles. So I expected the aloevera gel to provide good moisturization and softness to skin. I have used it continuously for 15 days as a massage gel, as a prior nourishment before face pack and at times as a night cream.
Massage Gel: Once applied on face it spreads easily and on continuous massaging it gets completely absorbed in 5 minutes leaving behind a light greenish tint. I wait for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Continued this procedure regularly for 2 weeks and didn’t notice much of a change in my skin tone or skin texture.
Prior Nourishment: I follow the same procedure as mentioned above but after rinsing off the aloevera gel, I follow up with the Just Herbs Petal Soft Anti Tan Rose Face Pack. The directions on the massage gel actually mention to follow up with steam and a face pack . If you remember the review of the facepack, I have mentioned how the face-pack stings badly for a few minutes. Surprisingly when the aloevera gel is used prior to the face pack it never stung. Also the effects of the face-pack doubled. Skin feels more brightened, radiant and nourished.
Night Cream: Massaged into the skin and left it overnight. Followed it for 3 nights and noticed that it’s not providing sufficient moisturization at night to my dry skin so discontinued.
Cost Efficiency: Moderate.
thanks for giving your opinion beforehand on the gel . . m glad i skipped it :)

I love aloe vera leaves. I buy it from the Indian grocery store here and use the flesh and the gel like juice to simply massage it on the face. It is really good..I am not sure about the packaged product but it seems good. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
