Funday Looks ~ Side Fish Tail Braid With Twists

Hello My Lovely Friends,

Hope you all are having an awesome weekend and a wonderful Sunday.

Today I have tried the Side Fish Tail Braid with Twists on the other side.

Do you ladies know the technique of Fish Tail Braid? I just got to know about it recently through the below video.

The video clearly describes the technique of Fish Tail Braid. I followed the same technique except that I used any finger available to pull out the section. I tried a full braid instead of a ponytail that was actually shown in the video.

The full braid has come out neatly in 2 trails for me. The effort put was around 10 minutes for the full style but it's totally worth it. I am so in love with the Fish Tail Braid. Also note that, once you secure the braid with elastic at the end don't forget to wrap it with hair and add a bobby pin.

Twists Pictorial:

  1. With index finger pick up a section of hair adjacent to the partition.
  2. Divide the section into 2 parts.
  3. Twist the parts individually as shown.
  4. Cross over the 2 twisted parts twice and secure with a bobby pin.
  5. Repeat the same till you reach the ear. Pick up the ends of each twisted section.
  6. Secure all the ends with a bobby at the back of the ear. This will give you tight twists for longer time.
Make-up Break Down:
Eyes:

Added a violet shade to lower half of the eye lid and lower lash-line. Then added a pink color to the upper half of the lid and crease. Lined the waterline and tight-lined with Kajal

Lips:

Used Lotus Herbals FloralStay Lip Color in Tulip Love and topped it with Nivea Pearly Shine Lip Balm.

Look:

Finally that's how it looks on me.

Friends share your thoughts about the fish tail braid? Did you try it before? What other braids do you know?

Happy Preening :)
