Helloooo Ladies!!! Hope you all had a great weekend :). I had some fun creating colorful nails with the girly colors Pink & Purple. What I am excited about is that I haven't used a single nail art tool.
If you liked the look just follow the below steps to recreate it. All you need is a sponge, toothpick, top coat and nail enamels in your favourite colors. I have used the sponge that comes in the Watch cases/ boxes :P
Oh yes! A q-tip and a nail polish remover as well to clean the mess around the nails. The base colors I used are pink and purple. For flowers I used navy blue and white shades. Now lets get into the steps without more ado.
Step 1: Apply the purple color to one end of the sponge and pat the color from the sponge onto the base of the nails.
Step 2: In the same way apply the pink color on the remaining half. Don't worry even if the shades overlap.
Step 3: Repeat the steps 1 and 2 as a double coat. It intensifies the colors.
Make sure to leave no gaps and apply in patting motion only. Even if the area around gets messy don't worry. It hardly takes a minute or two to clean it with q-tip and remover.
Step 4: Clean the mess and apply a top coat.
Step 5: With a blue color nail enamel make dots as shown with a tooth pick. Pour some color onto a thick paper, dip the tooth pick into it and make the dots.
Step 6: Apply a white colored dot at the center of the blue dots. This completes the flower :)
Step 7: One more top coat and then you are done :)
Titbit:
You can use a rhine stone/ bindi instead of the white dot. I wanted to keep the colors vibrant so didn't opt for that :)
Hoe you liked the look and I would love to hear from you all. Please share your feedback and suggestions in the comments section below :)
Bye for now and Happy Preening :)
