John Frieda Frizz Ease Smoothening Conditioner -- Review and Swatch

Product Description: This conditioner starts blocking frizz in the shower for easy styling. With our Frizz-Mending Complex, it smoothes strands, repairs by helping to seal split ends and restores hair's natural defense against frizz. Leaves distressed tresses soft, shiny and highly manageable. Safe for color-treated hair.

Price: 450 INR for 295 ml

Availability: Available only in E-Market.

Fragrance: Has a mild musky odor when smelled from the tube and while applying the conditioner.  But once the hair is semi dry you get a faint smell of egg.  Yes right Weird!!!!

Texture:  Thick and creamy. Spreads easily on shampooed hair but if you want to condition hair without shampooing you might need more quantity.

Hair Smoothening:  I have tried conditioners from L'Oreal, Pantene, Dove, Revlon, Garnier and Herbal Essences. John Frieda definitely has an edge over  all these conditioners in hair smoothening and frizz control factors. Hair will be frizz free for 2 3 days.

Hair Softening: Not so good when compared to Dove, Pantene and L'Oreal conditioners.

Detangling: Detangles hair pretty well and keeps hair tangle free for at least 2 3 days

Product Necessity: A must have product for Hair.

Color Protection: I use Henna and this conditioner didn't improve or decrease the longevity of the color.

Ingredients List:
WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, BEHENYL ALCOHOL, BIS(C13-15 ALKOXY) PG-AMODIMETHICONE, HYDROLYZED SILK, DIMETHICONE, DICETYLDIMONIUM CHLORIDE, FRAGRANCE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, BENZYL ALCOHOL, PEG-14M, QUATERNIUM-91, DIMETHICONOL, CETRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, LACTIC ACID, GLYCINE, MALIC ACID, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, BIS-METHOXYPROPYLAMIDO ISODOCOSANE, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE

Overall Efficacy:  If your hair  is soft and silky but frizz is your only problem then John Frieda would be the solution . For my hair profile it's not a holy grail product but I would definitely repurchase it till I find a better one. Major con is the smell of egg when hair is semi dry.

Note: As mentioned in the usage directions I haven't used this conditioner along with the John Frieda shampoo.  I use Head and Shoulders shampoo.
